Shift Sensor Kit

A common component in modern ATV's & UTV's, the shift angle sensor detects the position of the gear, such as first or second, and sends the data as electric signals back to the ECU.  If this sensor goes bad, the ECU stops things working, essentially saving the transmission from any further damage.

HOW TO INSTALL

Inspection:

• Check to ensure wires are not kinked or damaged, and all connections are clean and free.

Installation:

• Coat new O-ring with engine oil and install into sensor groove.
• Carefully install the angle sensor by aligning the flat surfaces of the sensor shaft hole and gearshift spindle end.
• Apply locking agent into threads of the sensor bolts.
• Install two bolts and tighten.
• Connect the connector.
